What opinions do you have that most people do not share or go against popular opinion?

me: Batman & Robin is not a bad film. I disagree with the direction like most have people have about it, but i do not condemn it. For a campy goofy movie in a modern update of the TV show it isn't bad.

Usually I don't know what the popular opinion is. So I don't know if my opinion goes against it.

Well it's mainly our general perceptions rather than pure statistical research on, like what you feel is probably typical what is not, nothing scientific

Good and evil, and thus whether one is right or wrong. We all have a general idea that 'good' is preservation of life and all that, and it's 'right' to be that way. It's awfully hard to tell though when you remove consequences.

Not that I kill people or anything.

Never under-estimate James Cameron to hype a film to turn a profit. Only way it could have been better in box office is if Sam Worthington or Steven Lang or Sigorney Weaver died

Sigourney is too hot to die. There is no Dana, only Zuule.

I think Johnny Depp is seriously overrated. He should never have tried to compare to Gene Wilder, and those pirates movies are crap.

You mean as Willy Wonka? I never saw Wilder's version but Depp was.....a bit off. :eyes

Oh, and Avatar? It was special effects and little else if you ask me. The way everything in nature connected through a simply plug-in system made me cringe.:lol

Finally: sorry Kermit, but I really don't like Miss Piggy :D

    Yeay!

Everyone in South Africa thinks that Avatar is amazing and I think it is just CRAP. The visual FX were a bit too dodgy a bit too often, the acting performances were not up to scratch (with the startling and almost compensating exception of Zoe Saldana - :slong) and the the story was basically Pocahontas in space. The pace was all wrong and the political atmosphere is a bit late. And in my (heretical) opinion; yes, there is such a thing as too much colour.

    I've had my vent.

I like the Pirates movies - they're absolutely hilarious! By the end of the third movie you have completely lost track of who's fucking-over who!

And I think the problem with Johnny Depp as Wonka vs Gene Wilder as Wonker is more a Tim Burton thing. While I love Burton, and I do, I'm having a bit of a problem with they way in which he's reinventing lovely children's tales; a la Chocolate Factory and Alice in Wonderland. They're too dark and off-original topic.

(Speaking of off-topic, I apologise for my second discrepancy.)
