ok so this is gross i'm sorry, but for the past few months i have had strange discharge (i'm female)
i've been tested for sti's (twice!) and it's NOT a yeast infection. My doctor just kinda shurged it off saying that the body changes...
so i'm going to see another one when i get a friggin appointment.
but ok if it's not an sti, or yeast infection, is there anything else i could ask my doctor to test for?
it's like thicker than my normal discharge, and it's not see through at all, and my normal stuff is seethrouough. it smells kinda strong, and acording to my partner i 'tast different'
so you know, for a while we haven't really been having oral sex, which sucks!
    if anyone has any suggestions...
my doctor is really shurgging me off and i'm getting pissed!

    thanks :(

Soy, It could be a change in your diet.
Or any number of things that are not related to your health.
And yes the body does change.

Thought I would add a thought. Femmesil is made to
    clear up feminine discharges.

    Also some words from Google

    Hope this helps.

Personally I wouldn't take any kind of OTC medication until I had an official diagnosis, because that might only be taking care of one symptom of an infection(an infection that can be probably passed to her partner)

if it is this vaginosis it won't be cured with the same thing that cures a yeast infection right?
becasue i was told to treat it like a yeast infection, and i did, and it didn't help

Nooo. Yeast infection medications won't touch BV. BV is usually treated with anti-biotics prescribed by a doctor.

I vote for getting the second opinion - new doctor. Sometimes they just lose the drive to pursue a genuine diagnosis, esspecially if it involves blind testing. I hope you've received good recommendations on your new doc. Good luck, and let us know what it turns up.
