Hi I am new here. I am a 39 y/o SWM. I don't feel old, and actually I feel like I am still in my 20s mentally, but I've noticed over the last couple years, my sex drive had been declining. I never had a problem performing once I started, but my libido was real low. I assumed part of it was insecurity cuz like a lot of people I've put on extra pounds over the years, which I am currently working on.

I recently was diagnosed with low Testosterone, and started taking androgel, a testosterone replacement medication. Now I am 6 weeks into it, and wow did it make a difference! Not only is my sex drive up like a 1000%, feel better about myself than I have in years, and I am starting to get some muscle tone back and shed some pounds, but I can't stop thinking about sex! I just get erections seeing women walking by, like I did when I was a teen!

I have a female friend and we occasionally have sex (we have a mutual NSA thing...she's the only sex partner I've had in 4 years, she has a couple guys on the side. I don't ask questions no one is jealous or getting hurt here). I used to just want sex like a couple times a month and would rarely masturbate. Now,I masturbate at least twice a day (once in the morning, once at night), and my female friend and I have sex every time we hang out (weekends), and it still doesn't feel like enough!

It feels great, but also feels a little frustrating sometimes because I want more sex, and with more partners, but I am no mack daddy and I am still trying to get back into shape so I look better and feel better about myself!

So I was wondering if anyone here has been or is currently on meds that increased your sex drive, and how did you handle it?

Horniness can be hard to handle. Take a Viagra on top of that and wheeeew, you will feel like dying with long lasting pleasure.

Have you noticed any increase in the amount of semen?

I havent taken any medication that made me want sex more, however the sex drive you describe sounds like my normal libido.
Several times a day every day I get horny and want sex but I don't have a female partner so it's masturbation all day every day for me. :)
Getting horny looking at women when I'm in town? yup, happens to me too.

No not really, but that wasn't really a problem anyway. It was more libido thing for me. However, my orgasms feel more intense.

Haha. Well I am a bit older so....

I, honestly, do not see how this is any different from the shut-down post I made.

However, yes I have. Ihave done so with Diphenhydramine Hydrachloride.

    1. If I had seen your thread I would have posted there.

    2. If your thread was closed, obviously I couldn't post there anyway, so how is any similarity in the threads relevant?

    3. Diphenhydramine Hydrachloride=Benadryl.

Men who are overweight always suffer from declining testosterone. Lose weight, get fit and the horniness will return by itself. Also, you will reduce your chances of type 2 diabetes, heart disease and other medical issues. It only takes 10% above your optimal BMI for all these things and more.

I'm 53, my height is 170cm and my weight is 58kg. My total and free testosterone are about average for a man in his mid-twenties, so I don't need more. So there is a lesson to be learned from this, and that is to eat well and exercise regularly; exercise each and every day.
