When you have sex and the girl you are "doing it" with is on the pill, do you still use a condom?

If you don't want STDs then that is a good option.
Also the pill isn't 100% effective, neither are condoms, but it's better safe than sorry.

No, I never used condoms while my wife was on the pill As far as casual sex goes, you should satisfy yourself that both of you are STD-free. I have been in casual sexual relationships with a known partner, again without using condoms.

I'm on the pill and my partner and I never use any other form of protection. The pill is actually the most effective form of birth control there is, apart from surgical sterilization or abstinence. Using a condom in addition to the pill would provide only the slightest amount of extra protection. To use both together is more or less redundant.

Sort of...someone posted an article about it a while back but I don't recall how it works.

Here's an article I just googled.

I am in a long term relationship and know my partner to be free of STDs so i only use the pill. If it is only in terms of pregnancy risk the pill should be enough protection but if you don't know the other person to be free of STDs it is best to also use a condom.

A safer way is to leave your pants zipped.

:p Well, that's the same thing as abstinence isn't it? I did say that one of the two forms of "birth control" more effective than the pill was abstinence, i.e.: not having sex at all.

If either of you have had other partners in the past, have other partners currently, or may have other partners in the future, you should utilize a condom to protect yourself and your girlfriend from STD's.
