My friends and I were wondering about the wealth of the characters on HIMWM while we were... eating a sandwich... and it made me wonder about other aspects that aren't said in the show, but could be figured out. Let's have some fun.

    I'll do income and IQ.

    HIMYM
    Lily: 30k/yr, IQ: 90
    Marshall: 250k/yr, IQ: 140
    Ted: 100k/yr, IQ: 120
    Robyn: 250k/yr, IQ: 100
    Barney: 50m/yr, IQ: 160

    Big Bang
    Penny: 30k/yr, IQ: 90
    Leonard: 70k/yr, IQ: 160
    Sheldon: 100k/yr, IQ: 220
    Howard: 50k/yr, IQ: 150
    Koothrappali: 80k/yr, IQ: 160

    Family Guy
    Peter: 20k/yr, IQ: 70
    Quagmire: 30k/yr, IQ: 110
    Joe: 40k/yr, IQ: 100
    Cleveland: 35k/yr, IQ: 90
    Brian: 5k/yr: IQ: 140

    Seinfeld (adjusted to 2013 dollar)
    Jerry: 300k/yr, IQ: 110
    Kramer: 10k/yr, IQ: 100
    George: 35k/yr, IQ: 85
    Elaine: 100k/yr, IQ: 120

    Friends (adjusted to 2013 dollar)
    Joey: 35k/yr, IQ: 80
    Ross: 100k/yr, IQ: 140
    Chandler: 200k/yr, IQ: 120
    Monica: 100k/yr, IQ: 110
    Rachael: 60k/yr, IQ: 100
    Pheobe: 25k/yr, IQ: 90

Seems like a lot of comedies have one person way above average in either IQ or wealth, and one person way below average :/

Love this post. Made me think of the episode of seinfeld where elaine is taking the IQ test for George. I think she got a 151 in the end.
