Yes, I agree. Years ago, when we had about 3 feet of snow...now that was awesome! Had all kinds of snowball fights. :lol

I've been snowed back tot he stone age. We got one helluva storm, we're still digging out from up. No power, no heat, no water, no phone. Won't get them back for another 48 hours or so. This sucks!

Oh, I'm posting from work, the only place with lights and an Internet connection. lol

We got about 10 inches (SNOW) the other night. It was forecast to be one inch. It warmed up to 65 degrees yesterday (a record) and melted most of it, but now we're supposed to get a big snow storm starting tonight or tomorrow. Oh goody! Our weekend starts tonight. A good blizzard means nobody bothers us! Two days of cuddling in front of the fireplace and rolling around in bed... WOOOHOOO

Sorry to hear about your situation, HF. If you can't stay at home in front of the fireplace, what's the point of having a storm? *scratches head* That sounds just plain nasty!

It's a winter wonderland here and I'm loving it :) (As long as the snow plows continue to roll past my house regularly!)

We had some snow a couple of weeks ago, but the weather has warmed up and it's been rainy and gloomy for the last day or two. The weather these days is truly depressing.

We got our power back at about 5:30 last evening, so I'm a happy camper once again. Still lots of snow down, and more on the way. Woohoo!

It's warm and sunny and mid to high-twenties (don't know what that is in American temperature). We have pleasant days with some evening thunderstorms and good rain (and we need the rain 'cause the drought has been terrible).

I live in Sweden (the so-called Great White North) and I still haven't experienced this famous white Christmas I keep hearing about. Last year and the year before it didn't start snowing until after Christmas. The Swede says it's because of Global Warming. He remembers many white Christmases from his childhood. It snowed a couple of weeks ago and I got all excited, thinking at last I'll finally get a white Christmas...but lately the weather has been...meh. Foggy and rainy.

Like A-1 said, we had a lovely (though short-lived) snow shower on Wednesday here in VA. All the radio stations started playing "snow" songs :lol Kids pressing their runny noses up against the chillly classroom windows. It's quite a thrill when it snows before Christmastime!

But alas, warming up to mid-seventies in a couple days :ugh
