I saw on the news where Oregon beat Standford handily but was deeply sorry to see where Anonymous One's Tigers, sadly, did not prevail over Sewanee! Oh well! As long as they beat Randolph Macon! GO DUCKS, GO TIGERS!!! And, lest we forget, the mighty Richmond "Spiders" who surprised everyone by beating the Duke Blue Devils! "SPIDER BORN, SPIDER BRED and WHEN THEY DIE THEY'RE SPIDER DEAD!!!"

Not only did they beat Stanford, but they blew them away 48-10 in a 93 degree heatwave. I read that the paramedics were called multiple times during the game because fans kept collapsing from heat exhaustion. The Ducks were on fire on the field (metaphorically) and the fans in Autzen Stadium were burning up (figuratively).

I just hope that Tennessee doesn't have to face the mighty Ducks in a bowl game! :nerv I always thought that Oregon was usually cold and rainy! Guess not last weekend! And my sympathy for the Tigers! Hope they can get it together for the Macon game! I'm rootin' for 'em!
