Any of you out there still live with your folks (parents)? I still do, but on occasion when they got to head out of town, they entrust me to play the caretaker for our house; only when they do (we got a vacation home in Arizona), do I get a chance to get some sexual fun.

I mean me and my SO have sex almost every night but we would like to be free and loud

I'm not here to judge or criticise but isn't 43 and still living at home a little old? Maybe I just had no choice but to support myself but I would have thought that by the time you reach 43 you should well and truly be able to fend for yourself.

Maybe you're just fishing for responses. Maybe you were married, divorced, lost everything and had no choice. Maybe there's more to your story?

I don't know of any parents who want their kids still hanging around at 43 years of age.

I moved out at 16, and lived away from home up till i was 32, then things went down hill for me , lost my job no money comming in, no ability to work ( as i had snapped my elbow joint clean in half ..
so there are reasons as to why some end up back in the parents home...

some may have seen other posts ive done about my background , well its been pretty rocky all my life...and it tore me up having no other option open to me but to move back with them, as before i busted my arm badly i had my own place a pretty cool good paying job...
but il get back there again..

Sue me im 34 and live at home.....wheres the firing squad at . Martin and heel are two of the six gunmen :p need another 4 hahahaha

Believe you me, no disrespect, but sometimes my family can be a whole bunch of freakazoids. Ever hear of the term dysfunctional family? My pop an' bro, they can be real tyrants an' bullies.

I lived in Japan for eighteen months while working as an English conversation teacher. I had many young and not-so young adult students, some quite well off professionally, who still lived with their parents. This is because it's not only acceptable but expected that you'll live with your parents until you get married. Living with one's girlfriend/boyfriend or fiance without being married is still uncommon and discouraged. It may seem ridiculous for a person in their mid-forties to still live with their parents, but for many of them it was a matter of convenience and maybe a little laziness. Why move out when mom still cooks all your food and does all your laundry?

However, my brother, sister, and I all moved out when we turned eighteen. I couldn't imagine living with my parents again after all these years.

Im 18 and i do but i should be moving out in the next 6-8 months...But i dont think people should be in a great hurry to move out. IF you have parents that are willing to support you in some ways that saves you money then you should take advantage of it....but help them out a little as well

I'm currently back with my parents after 3 years away at university. Only until i find myself a job and find somewhere else though. I miss the freedom i had living alone.
