I am 20 years old and I have been working out my PC muscles for about 6-7 years now. But, whenever I do the exercises, or when they contract/expand while I'm having an orgasm, I always feel the need to do bowel movements (excreting feces, specifically) about 5 minutes afterwards. But, if I completely relax while I'm having an orgasm, this never happens, so I am assuming this has something to do with a connection between my PC muscles and somewhere in my rectum or something. I am also pretty sure I am doing the exercises correctly because my legs/stomach area is not stressed when I do them.

I have never heard of this before on anywhere I've read, and I'm a bit embarassed to ask a doctor in person. Do you have any idea why this could be?

I've heard of it. Once a guy on a Yahoo forum asked about it but all the replies were suggesting stupid shit just to make him feel worse.

Once that I can remember, I felt like I needed to back off of an orgasm because I thought I suddenly had to go. Luckily, I didn't, but it was early in the morning when my gut is least stable anyway. That was a long time ago and I have not thought about it since then, up until you posted about it. I've never done PC exercises.

Ask the doc, it's bodily functions. That's what they're trained for. Now that you're all uptight about it, it may exacerbate it too.

I believe that they are two muscles contracting during an orgasm. The PC muscle and another one further up (near your bowels.) That one may be stronger than your PC muscle. I think that your brain has linked the feeling of that muscle contracting to a bowel movement rather than sex because you've been using it for the first one your whole life and the latter for only as long as you've been sexually active.

The rectal area definetly gets spasms during an orgasm. That can be easily proved by having something in there at the time. It is understandable that one might get that "poopy" feeling afterwards.:cool
