sometimes it's interesting to learn what we watched when we were little, learning what common shows we watched as children and perhaps stuff we've never heard of. Sometimes what we watch shape us...i don't know where i'm going with this but i'm gonna post my list

    Sesame Street
Nozzles(?) (it was some japanese koala show)
You Can't Do That On Television (one of the greatest shows of all time)
    Count Duckula
Star Trek:TNG (that's right i got my geek on back in da day!)
    Today's Special
    Mister Wizard
    Muppet Babies
    David The Gnome
    Bugs Bunny type cartoons
    Sharon Lois Bram's Elephant Show
    Lassie
    diff'rent strokes
    Night Court
    Double Dare
    ALF
    Super Mario Super Show
    Tiny Toons Adventures
    Super Ted
    The TGIF line up
(man i watched a lot of fucking TV!)

when i was slightly older (eleven):
    Batman TAS
    X-Men TAS
    Aniamaniacs
    X-Files
    Jay Leno

can't think of hte rest lol

Well, I'll start by copy/pasting what you had that I watched. then I'll show my age and go even further back.

    Sesame Street
Star Trek:TNG (I watched this when it first came out)
Star Trek TOS (watched this sometimes with my step dad)
    Mister Wizard
    Lassie
    Double Dare
    ALF
    Emergency
    Buck Rogers
Battlestar Galactica (Motherfucking Lorne Greene ftw!)
    Magnum PI
    Riptide
    Punky Brewster
    Small Wonder

    Muppet Babies
    David The Gnome
Warner Bros. roons (Bugs Bunny etc.)
    Super Mario Super Show
    Tiny Toons Adventures
A lot of the Hanna Barbera toons like Yogi Bear, The Flintstones, Quickdraw McGraw, etc.
    Popeye
    Tom and Jerry
    Mighty Mouse
    Heckyl and Jeckyl
    The Pink Panther
    Felix the Cat
    M.A.S.K.
    Heathcliff
    Garfield and Friends
    Transformers
    GoBots
    He-Man
    Silverhawks
    Thundercats
    Spiral Zone
    Robotech
    Dinosaucers

    C.O.P.S.
Punky Brewster (yes they made a cartoon too)
    Ren and Stimpy
    Voltron (Lions, fuck the cars)
    Tranzor Z

Basically go to this site: 80's Cartoons Central — All your favorite 80s cartoons! and I can list easily 70%+ of the cartoons they have listed.

I was definitely an 80's kid, and if it was cool in the 80's, I probably watched it or knew of it.

Growing up in the 80s, I watched all the time:

    $25,000 Pyramid
    Press Your Luck
    Price Is Right
    Sale of the Century
    Scrabble
    Super Password
    Joker's Wild
    Bulls eye
    Jackpot
    Hot Potato
    Play the Percentages
    Chain Reaction
    Card Sharks
    Hollywood Squares

You guessed it -- I was a game show fanatic as a child for as long as I can remember. My favorite game show host was Chuck Woolery.

I really missed those times when there was a lineup of game shows on the USA Network.

to name a few, plus cartoons like:
    Fractured Fairy Tales

    Lost in Space
    I Dream of Jeannie
    Bewitched

    Later:

    The Love Boat
    Fantasy Island
    Dynasty
    Knot's Landing
    Melrose Place

It'll take me a while to think back, but I'll start with when I was very young:

    Roy Rogers
    The lone Ranger
    Captain Kangaroo
Anything that had to do with the fledgling Space program.
Howdy Doody was before my time.
    Popeye
    Anything from Walt Disney
I don't know if Bugs Bunny, etc was around yet, but they were favorites when they did come.

That was on an old Motorola TV with only one knob for the VHF tuner. Howdy Doody was before my time.
I'll come back with my adolescent favorires next.
