I take the underground often and I've been paying attention to how many more people look fake nowadays. Women with all of this contouring stuff, botox, fillers, etc. and even men with makeup, fillers, etc (not talking about gay men here only) First of all let me say that I'm not against corrective surgery, or for that matter plastic surgery if it's to fix something you feel a bit self conscious about. A small surgery like breast augmentation, slight lipo on very problematic areas that fat seems to never disappear from, imo is not a big deal, at the end of the day those are one of the benefits of modern medicine, so why not take advantage or it if it will boost your confidence, but seems to me like these days the amount of surgery/production that some people go through is just too much and takes away from the beauty of the natural look. I find myself feeling more physically attracted towards a 40 something year old woman that looks good, you can see takes care of herself and works out, wear nice fitting clothes, than a 20 something year old with lips blown up like a goldfish. Not to mention the over the top makeup and even clothes. I'm in my mid 30's so maybe it's a sign if maturing, but I never did find those women attractive back then let alone now with all the cosmetic procedures. What's your take on this?
