These problems plague most men either one or the other.

Do many encounter one of the two or both in your sexual life so far? Since some of these newly created aphrodisiacs came on the scene, there are some good and some bad results.

Please do state your concerns on these products.

May the sexual force be with you always. Amen

So far, I haven't had a problem with either, however, as one grows older, one never knows. Even so, medical science is daily improving, making new discoveries. It could be that people will soon be living to well over 100, having sex and making babies at advanced ages too. As a book once said, it's going to be a "brave new world" and it could be a scary one at times too, as well as a happy one. Anyway, I have yet to encounter anyone on SF who needs an aphrodisiac! Ha, ha! ;>

I have partial ED as a result of spinal cord nerve damage, but not PE. However, a man with the thought of ED on his mind is likely to slip into PE as he wonders if he will last or go soft before finishing.

At 54, you will not have the sexual performance of 24, it may take a day or so to recover each time you have sex. In addition, arousal and foreplay take on new significance. If your partner is sexually responsive and attentive, and your sex life is strong with her, this will help.

ED is caused by something, and you should have a check-up. The most common cause of ED these days is diabetes, and a person can have diabetes for many years with no symptoms. There are other things such as high blood pressure, or interactions with various medications that can also cause ED.

Once you have had your check-up, there are a number of treatment options for ED. The oral medications work well for most men, my personal favourite is Cialis. Cialis is less punchy than others, but it has a half life of 36 hours. This means that if it is taken regularly (I take half a tablet three times a week), it builds up in your system, and you are pretty much ready for sex whenever and wherever. Viagra was the first, but it does not work after food or alcohol, which limits its usefullness. LeVitra is the third, it works with food and alcohol, but it cannot be split into half tablets to make it go further. If all else fails, the Caverject injection is a marvel, if a man can't get an erection with Caverject, then something is seriously wrong. I don't use Caverject myself, but I know some men who do, and they swear by it.

So ED is a nuisance, and it costs money for the medications, but it is a long way from being the end of a man's sex life. Indeed, despite my ailment, my sex life has never been better!
