    For quite some time now I've been in the habit of "edging" myself during masturbation or other sexual activity. Also, I do male kegel exercises. Both have seemed to improve many aspects of my sexual performance, and thus my sexual confidence. (Fuller and longer lasting erections. Never being concerned about inability to perform. More intense climaxes. Happier/better satisfied partner. That sort of stuff. :D)

    I am curious if there are any other Good (and safe/healthy) practices that a man can do to help himself when it comes to sexual performance.

    Looking for feedback from other fellows, but if the ladies know anything to add then please don't hesitate.

    There is a form of cock push-ups or weight lifting that can be beneficial;
    Drape the erect cock with a towel, starting with a small one and gradually working up in size.
    Then make the cock 'jump/lift' against this resistance.
    Be careful not to over do it.

    > yoga/stretching/flexibility training (20 minutes)
    > cardiovascular training (45-60 minutes)
    > weight-lifting/ballistic training (15-30 minutes)
    AND NOW ADDING
    > Penis weight resistance training (time yet to be determined)

    The 'weight lifting' is really just an extension (no pun) of erect kegels.
    Once you have developed a 'strong lift' you can apply this technique when fully inserted with some surprising results (watch her face the first time you do it) - you can almost 'fuck' by this technique alone - but not for very long.

    Okay , yeah I do some edging mainly because I don't want to finish yet when masturbating ( I like my cock) and I want my load to build up. However, for me, too much edging has done this: when it comes down to the next time I have sex I have either cum very quickly due to " finally I'm inside and I can cum!" Or found it difficult to maintain an erection when the sex was a slower pace. Like I had to pound away vigorously or it wasn't gonna happen. If she gets on to and just wants a slow ride , it feels great , but it won't stay hard unless I am going at it like I would when masturbating and I am near the edge and really into it. Make sense?

    I think it's just getting used to one way. I cannot say edging has ever made me last longer.it seems to be a roll of the dice with me and always has.

    Why I think edging has helped me to last longer is that it's taught me very well what that "almost point" is and how much more it's going to take to push me to climax. With that knowledge I'm able to change what I'm doing so that I either finish or not - depending on what the situation calls for. :)

    have no problems here but I do exercise quite a bit so being fit helps..

    Definitely! (Not where I want/need to be on that front yet but I'm working on it!)
    Also: Getting proper nutrition via diet, keeping smoking and/or drinking to a minimum (like not at all), and de-stressing regularly (I do meditation and breathing exercises) help a ton.

    But those are just kind of Good General Health tips... My curiosity is more specific to directly sexual things. :)

    My view is if you follow a regular exercise routine eat reasonably healthy then not only will sexual health but general health will follow and improve.

    Kegel exercises and become familiar with the pont of no return are two, basic Tantra techniques. I was also taught creative visualisation and then I taught it to my wife, so she absorbs my sexual energy. Those three techniques mean I can go steadily for half an hour or more, and hold myself close to coming for several minutes before I do come, which is big of course. I keep it down to about half an hour because that's as long as it takes for her to orgasm and it's not necessary to go further. My Tantric traning Godddess suggested half an hour steady, no stop and start, is the key duration, and she was right when it comes to my wife.

    The Kegel exercises work. I need to start doing them again, but I certainly could tell a difference. 200-300 slow repetitions a day.

    What is a Tantric training goddess?

    I stop at the half-hour mark because I have a very large girth and if we go longer we will both end up sore.

    The Tantric Goddess had been trained in Tantric arts beyond the three I mentioned, and she trained me hands on so to speak.     Great for you, but for me and my GF - If the sex is good enough, and the climaxes are frequent/strong enough, then soreness later is a price we're more than willing to pay (and have paid).
