    Thanks to @Barent providing that excellent link about covers, I saw William Shatner in the sidebar. That guy covered everything from Bowie, The Beatles and Queen to Black Sabbath and Pulp.
    His most infamous cover was "Mr. Tambourine Man" where he essentially shrieks at the end, but this cover of Elton John's "Rocket Man" is also representative of his brutal spoken-word delivery.

    I actually like the cover more because I don't think Nate Ruess has the right voice for this song and it works better as a solo.

    It's not exactly known who originally wrote this song.
    Jimi Hendrix performed the most famous version but I liked this one too.
