I need a new laptop. Seeing a lot of chrome netbooks pretty affordable.
Is it a "get what you pay for" situation?

I don't play video games, I take lots of pics but don't store them on my computer.

    I do want flash/adobe

Husband is a computer engineer and heavy with the computer knowledge.

He says: "There's very little onboard storage, it's all in "the cloud". It doesn't run windows and it's mainly meant for web browsing. If that's what you do, then this is a good, cheap, lightweight choice for you." He also prefaced with "eh, their kinda nifty"

I would agree with Mitts husband. They are probably good for web surfing and email but really nothing else because they have don't really have any hard drive. May not be good for geeks tho.... :)
