Just to start it is not a non-prescription drug.
And I would suggest that if you want a complete day of sex
take 2 of them, They are good. I like to use them when planning
non stop 24 hour sex. They are the best.
But rock hard no, the only way to get Rock hard is be 21 and have-------
    in bed with you.

    10 mg wont do it.
    That pill is a freebie.
Go to the Doc and get a prescription for 50mg
but only if you need it. if you don't need it don't take it.
just one word, Do not take Yohimbe with it.

It'll probably be better than nothing. I think it's like Viagra in that any fat in your gut will totally bind it, so don't take it if you've recently eaten a burger or anything else fatty. That may turn it into a complete waste.

I have genuine ED from spinal cord nerve damage and I take Cialis. Cialis comes as 10mg or 20mg (certainly not 50!), and they are okay. Cialis isn't very powerful, but it has a very long half-life. This means that half the Cialis you took on Sunday is in your system when you next take one to have sex on Tuesday, and then the Tuesday one (and part of the Sunday one) is there for Thursday and so on. It gradually gets stronger and stronger over time, but as a once-off, it isn't terribly powerful.

Cialis is not affected by food or alcohol within reason, and it can be taken anything from half an hour to a day or so before sex. Cialis enables men with genuine ED to have a normal sex life, which was not the case with the old-fashioned Viagra.

In my case, I have sex about four times a week, so I take half of a 20mg tablet (10mg) four times a week and I perform like a 18 year old. Cost to me is about $25 per week for the real thing, which is excellent for great sex.

Fake Cialis (like fake Viagra) isn't very good. It is either watered-down, or the binders used to make the tablets affects the active ingredients. During the last 9 years I have used fake both and they have never been as good as the real thing. So I pay a little extra, and get value for money.

I too have ED from the medications I am taking (ACE inhibitors and Beta blockers) from the angioplasty I had last year. (Hopefully, I'll be off them this year ;-). Cialis didn't do jack for me, but not all meds work the same for all. Viagra is much more powerful and effective, but short-lived and requires better timing as it is only good for about 1 - 5 hours.

    gr8rguy,
My ed is partial, I get about 70% of a satisfactory erection naturally. In your case, you have serious vascular issues brought about the medications you are taking for your high blood pressure.

Despite my low-level issue, when I first took Cialis it didn't work terribly well. It was only after two weeks of half a 20mg tablet every second or third day did it kick in. Once it did, it was fine, and it is a good reason to keep having regular sex (not that we need a reason!).

If for some reason we can't have sex every two or three days, I continue to take a half-tablet regardless, because you really need to have a residual of Cialis in your system to work. The great thing about Cialis is you can perform regardless of whether you recently took a tablet or not. So if you plan to have sex, you take a half-tablet, but if your wife wakes in the middle of the night feeling horny, you can do it anyway on the amount of Cialis remaining in your system.

    Thanks cbrmale,

I am about 50% without ed medication (those ace inhibitors and beta blockers do a number on your member), so ed medication is essential for me. I didn't take cialis like you do; I only took one before sex and it didn't do much. I totally agree that cialis with its residual benefits allows much greater spontaneity than viagra, which requires scheduled sex. I will ask my cardiologist about it the next time I see him.

I use Cialis and am very pleased with it. I've found that it works better if taken a couple hours before sex, but an hour before works too. Viagra works faster, but as others have said, it doesn't last as long. I can usually get by without any, but then I'm never sure, so 10mg (half a 20mg tab) does indeed get me "rock hard" and keeps me that way for as long as needed -- usually an hour or two. It also lasts into the next day better. I switched from Viagra to Cialis because its effects last longer and its side effects (flushing, head ache) aren't as great.
