Does your s/o have any habits or hobbies that could be considered "childish", like reading comic books, playing videogames, watching cartoons, etc? How do you feel about it?

I do all of those and my s/o doesn't seem to care at all and finds some of it cute :dgrin

s/o? Whass that? Single Zero-brain? spouse what? Sex Officer?

Well, I am into Anime and my wife thinks that I am nut over these asian flicks. At least, both of us like to play video games. Nothing wrong with that! :dgrin

This is for sure, we won't be together if we don't like anything about us.

Not really. I know she used to think me working with computers was just a dorky career, until she realized what kind of cool shit I could do, including being able to fix her computer everytime she messed it up.

As far as habits that she has that bugs me, not really. The only thing that bothers me about her sometimes is her raising her voice and getting worked up when she talks to me about certain subjects when we could of so easily just talked casually about it together. I don't really know if that qualifies as childish, but it's one of the few pet peeves I have.

I'm not sure what your baseline is.

Comics are cool these days, you have to be over about forty not to have a video game system in your house (and that's still a big maybe), computers are a "real job," and if you've ever had any dealings with a Renny, you know that she can probably use the skills she had to learn to get good at that "childish hobby" to competently fix your sink, get the bathroom door to stop sticking, train your dog and build you a deck out back.

Aside from what appears to be an organized activity in which nominal adults prance around being vampires and shooting at each other with toy guns in public (no shit, I saw this last week on the Mall and I'm insanely curious as to just what the fuck they thought they were doing) and deliberately spreading malicious gossip, I can't really think of a lot of genuinely childish hobbies.

My husband spends hours in an online game comprised of virtual reality role playing. Sometimes I really believe he takes it more seriously than his "real" life....and is more committed to it.

That is a shame ... no wonder you're sexually angsty ... Tell him to quit PvPing and make sweet hot love to you.

I know exactly how you feel about this! My boyfriend basically gets paid to play Everquest. He runs a website where he writes reviews of the game and stuff like that so he's playing it all the time. There are times when I just want to throw a condom at the back of his head when he's at his computer and be like "Hey! I'm over here, in the real world!!"

My husband is absurdly mature, the only thing remotely childish that he does is yell at the TV when he's watching football.

Me? I'm very childish, I laugh too loud, I daydream all the time, and I braid pretty flowers in my pony's mane.
