ABC Song - YouTube
Hopefully you understand a little more now, Eve.
I see, so the further down the alphabet the letter the bigger the boobs are.
And the numbers that go with the letter?
The numbers are the band size. Or how big you are around the torso. Generally coming in even numbers. Larger girls wear larger bands, smaller girls wear smaller bands.
Think of it like mens pants.
thank you honey.
Now I could ask what the limits are between the alphabet sizes but that not necessary to answer.
Checked that song out. Quite funny because it is the ABC song, but good examples. Easily understood with the examples of sizes.
In Australia, our band sizes are like dress sizes, rather than inches.
Play around with the sizing info on victoriasecret.com but in general you measure the band size then you measure around the breast, and for every 2" that the measurement around the breast is greater than the band size measurement you go up a cup size.
I know that's not entirely the exact correct way it is, but it's good enough to understand.
How it also can work is that if you're having difficulty finding a particular bra in a particular size, you can go up in band size and down in cup size. For example, and while my wife had her implants this was very useful, if she is a 36D you could also get a 38C. It was useful because a lot of styles are available up to cup size C, but not available in D.
Now a 38C and 36D are not actually exactly the same because there will be diferences in how close together the cups are, so they will fit different.
this thread deserves boob pics.... that I unfortunately cant supply
