So, I've seen my share of concerts (not as many as I'd like) and I have two best, one being Jewel of course, the other Chicago maybe around 89-90. It was an outdoor concert and they crowd was hyped and it was just fantastic and really fun. I can't recall who opened but they were really good as well. As far as Jewel, I saw her front row about 12 years ago. It was a wonderful show that I will never forget and my personal favorite of all I have seen of hers both in person and recorded.
So as far as worst, well, this show really sucked, it was at an amphitheater so it may have been mostly the acoustics since I had to cover my ears to even recognize songs I knew and had been singing for many years. It seems like their were several bands there that night, like maybe Poison, Cinderella, Def Leppard and a few more, it was a big show. It was awful and I have seen many shows at this same amphitheater so it wasn't 100% the acoustics & my girlfriend thought it was good. I can't imagine if we had not been drinking. :p

So, what's the best/worst concert you have attended. I know quite a few of you guys have seen a lot more shows than I have and have to have favs.

    :) :) :) :)

Best - I think No Doubt, I wasn't a fan but Gwen Stafani was amazing.
And a couple of years ago my girlfriend and I was the 80's Erasure, it's was so much fun!

Worst - back in about 1990, maybe 1991 Meat loaf was dreadful I don't recall why.
And I went to see a rock/Metal band with the same girlfriend a few years back was was terrible so bad, I don't remember who they were lol!

I've seen hundreds of shows in my days so it is impossible to say a clear cut best show. I would say it's at least a 3 way tie at the top with Rush in the 1981 Moving Pictures Tour, The Eagles Reunion in I believe 2006 and Dream Theater in 2008 for their Chaos in Motion Tour. I saw many other outstanding shows over the years but these three stood out as far as the acoustics and stage shows. The worst by miles was Rick Springfield in 2010 at our local park. He was the Headliner in a show which included .38 Special and Night Ranger who both still kicked ass.;)

    Love the Foo Fighters!

I'd have to rank the Carolina Rebellions I've seen really high as well, but I couldn't just pick one band, the entire weekends are amazing!

Probably the best sounding concert was Santana at the New York State Fair many years ago. Went on a whim with a bunch of friends, not expecting much at a fairground setting, but it just sounded great.
The Hold Steady in a small venue was a lot of fun. Great bar band.

Worst: Early 80's Motley Crue. No talent hacks. Tommy Lee tosses a drum stick in the air, misses the catch, has no spares, has to go pick up his stick. loser

    Best by far: Roger Waters

The absolute best, I can't talk about here. Among the ones I can talk about, Pink Floyd is top of the list.

Absolute best Kid Rock he played every instrument and rocked Dallas.
I love Red Dirt country music their festivals are so fun.
Worst: can't pick to be honest if the music is bad I tend to focus on playing with & teasing husband. So it ends up being a great concert in our memories.

I have not been to many concerts and all were enjoyable. I really like Al Jarreau, Al Green (pre hot grits) , and the Spinners (led by mighty and sadly late Phillipe Wynne) and oops I just dated myself didn't?

Best: Jethro Tull followed by The Who! The Who played Tommy.

Worst: Gordon Lightfoot. He used to have a beautiful voice. Not any more. Very sad.

I recently saw Eli Young Band. I thought they were pretty bad in concert.

Their opening act was Blackjack Billy and they were great!

Haven't been to a lot of concerts, unfortunately.
Best - Supertramp back in the 80s - they were absolutely amazing!
More recently - Avenged Sevenfold - not exactly my style of music (went with my son) but their stage presence was unbelievable.
Worst - Henrique Iglesias - it wasn't that bad, but left a lot to be desired.

Best: Moody Blues at Red Rocks Amphitheater

Worst: Queen (found out that Freddy Mercury must have been overdubbing most of the vocal tracks on albums)
