Well I like beer. alot. what kind of beer dose everyone at :sf like.
well for me i really like. Great divide's Hercules Double IPA and Surly's darkness
My favourite summer beer is Corona. In the winter I like a nice Sam Adams winter lager. I'm also fond of weiss beers in any way, shape or form.
My wife is the connoisseur of the house. She likes anything Yuenling (sp) makes, especially Black and Tan. I just drink Coors light or Bud light.
Corona or Shiner Bock
I love you
Aw, thanks, hon. Wanna come over with a twelve-pack and hang out? I'll supply the couch for snuggling. :cool
*Brings a 12 pack of Corona and a couple of limes*
Not much of a connoisseur, but I do enjoy a cold one. These days I mostly drink Molson Canadian. The real stuff, not the crap they sell in the US (It's not the same!). Before that I really liked Kokanee, a beer from BC, but I can't get that anymore. And of course Labatt's Blue, again, the real stuff. I also enjoy Clancy's Amber Ale on occasion, and Sam Adams Boston Lager isn't bad either. XX from Mexico is awesome, and I do like Corona as well. Even Presidente from the Dominican republic is pretty good.
Yep, I know for a fact we here in the US don't have the good Molson. A few years ago my husband came back from a business trip from Canada with a few cases of Molson XXX and another type of Molson we can't get here. I drank the shit out of that stuff, I tell ya. :dgrin
What's funny is that the Smirnoff Ice in the US is different than in Canada too. Less alcohol content, and tastes different too. Sorry, my wife hates beer, but loves Smirnoff Ice. :lol
On a side note, Mountain Dew in Canada doesn't have caffeine, and tastes very different than in the US.
Dos Equis Special Lager. Lime x 2. Makes me a very happy camper.
"I don't always drink beer, but when I do, I prefer Dos Equis. Stay thirsty my friends."
*drops into a comatose state at the thought of Mountain Dew being caffeine free*
If your on the west coast try to find Lagunitas "Hop Stoopid" It is the best beer ever made. I've only seen it in 24oz bottles. Almost as good as sex.
Did anyone else participate in World Guinness Night? It was on the 24th, which was the 250th anniversary of the pouring of the first pint o' the black stuff. Some friends and I went a local Irish pub called the Dubliner. I had to work the next day so I had only three pints and left by 9:30, but my Irish friends stayed until closing and consumed many more pints and several whiskeys. The pub was giving away commemorative souvenirs as part of the celebration. I got three Guinness barrel key chains (one for each pint I had) and a cool scarf. Anyway, it was a great night and good times were had by all.
