    So who's getting the watch?

Seems like a satelite device of the iphone to me
    What are your thoughts?

    Which 6 is your preference?
(iphone 6 or iphone 6 plus)

I'd go with the 6 (not the 6 plus)
myself... not a big fan of the
    near tablet size phones.
    weird how phones are getting
    bigger and bigger from getting
smaller and smaller not so long ago.
I wonder if this affects pocket design.

    keynote presentation

    I have an iPhone 4.
I also start my fire by rubbing two sticks together.
I hunt and gather my food.
And live in fear of constant attacks from these damn dinosaurs roaming about.
    Ancient times man. Lol

I think it's so crazy how people lose their minds over every product that apple launches. How people can spend hundreds and hundreds of dollars on a phone and say that they are broke and can't get the necessities of life.

    I have an iphone 4 too :D

And my main desktop... yes desktop
    is a venerable PowerMac™ G5 circa 2003-2006...
old school RISC architecture all the way!

I bet this is a sentiment shared by many competitors.
Apple is an exemple of how successful a corporation
can be at branding if they do it right, Nike is another.

The short answer to that is... CREDIT ;)

But more seriously, I dont see how it would be possible
for one who cannot afford the necessities of life to get
    such expensive arguably "luxury" items.
I suspect those who "say" that about themselves
may not actually be in such dire circumstances after all.

I will not purchase an Apple product. I will not support a company that has it's workers in basically a prison setup with conditions so poor they installed jumper nets around the factory when they could be built here and still make a huge profit. I have the only US made cell phone, a Moto X, which has better reception than any iPhone, and the android platform does more than iOS.

It is very tricky to be principled in the purchase of technology comsumer items.
Though I understand the sentiments. It is nearly impossible to remain relevent
with highly defined sharp cut fundamental propositions serving as the foundation
for consumer action in this world of relativism.

Essentially, nothing is black and white, more to the point, no one (corporation) is.

    What factory is that?
Not a sub contractor, is it,
    an actual Apple run factory?
As the iphone is made of many
components from all over the world,
by a miriad of sub contractors,
    you can understand how accurate
reliable information is of great importance
when making statements to support principles.
Thats possibly true but still too speculative for principles.

Made in the US, Not for long.
this illustrates the pitfalls of the
    aforementioned principaled purchases.
    Considering the iminent Chinese
    ownership of Motorola Mobile
    and the questionable reasons
    for its aquisition by Google
in the first place, it seems like
    a rather unstable platform
    from which to criticize Apple's
corporate practices or for flag waving.

Obviously this is highly debatable and in the end is contingent on personal preference.
And thats what it all comes down to really, what product intrinsically fits your preference best.
Not for its potential patriotic qualities or for how good of a corporate citizen its maker/makers is/are.
For you backcheck64, thats the Moto X and that is perfectly valid. I think you can understand
how it's possible it be a different choice for someone else, right?

That seems like a long winded reply  sorry 'bout that, I kind of got carried away

See: All my other posts on here that have anything to do with technology.
But to save you some time I'll reiterate: I hate Apple.
    - OS/Software is asinine and a pain in the ass. (Ask any non-Apple/Mac employed software designer/code monkey...)
    - Paying for every different component(software/hardware/adaptors so it will work with other devices/software) separately.
    - The "Buy a whole new one - no replacement parts!" bullshit they pull with many of their products.
    - The condescension and unjustified smugness of most Apple/Mac People.
    - "Personalization and customization? What's that?" says Apple/Mac.
    - Lots of their recent products have had this amazing issue that when an update is released it crashes your system; you have to purchase a new one (because the warranty doesn't cover Apple Fuck-Ups).

And blah, blah, blah, blah... I know I'm not converting anyone from Apple. I also am now waiting for you all to jump to Apple/Mac's defense and point out how wrong I am.

    Android/Linux FOREVER!

If you use a subcontractor, you are approving of their methods and practices. Apple used to make the phones here, then moved to China to boost profit. I won't purchase any item where the factory was moved from this country, and on top of that, Apple is using off shore accounts to avoid paying taxes. And I've never had a problem with my android, I don't know anyone that hasn't had problems with the iOS platform, especially when "upgrading". You do know 81% of the worlds smartphones are Android. The platform that outperforms that iOS one. 10675676_825551687479314_626165308818470095_n.jpg

I have an example, my wife's nephew has 3 kids and a car that needed repairs when the iPhone 5 s came , he got the phone and put off the repairs, that's what I'm talking about. I'm saying people have messed up priorities
