I have a dozen varieties growing. Love the antiques. My favorite is the old Gertrude Jeekle (I'm certain it's spelled wrong). That's the rose they make rose perfume from. :)

I think wild roses are nice. :) I like all of them, though.

These are on my kitchen windowsill. That is a camellia on the left. I picked it from the bush in the front yard a few minutes ago. [IMG]
    .
Another shot of the same. Two roses in the middle and two camellias on the outside.
See my nekkid chia pet in the picture?

one day my dream is to have a beautiful rose garden... I adore deep crimson roses....something about a red rose seems utterly romantic yet secretive...

Oh how lovely. There's something special about the white ones, I'm with Jemimer on that. And echoing HardRocker's sentiment, I want to see what you've got in your garden, Kron! Flash us your roses :brow (I'm looking forward to getting an eyeful of yours, too, HardRocker!)

    Awesome picture, HR! :)
I'm not an expert birder but I love observing them on my walks in the woods, and bluebirds are just such little beauties to watch. Thanks for sharing the pic, you're a lucky one to have had one in your bird bath! :)

There arnt any roses blossoming at the moment in this garden ( but there are around 20+ rose bushes ( and if i had a cam i would be taking enough pictures for this thread and for my own pic thread lol...)

But i will post up some pictures of my place ( that were taken last year... ( shame it doesnt show the roses in bloom, but i will try to somehow get some pictures up for when they are this year)
    Just uplaoded these.

Here are this morning's roses. That bush is really getting out of hand. Due to neglect,it's about 12 feet tall.
