I am talking about amateur photographers who photograph landscape, nature, sunsets and people (nonsexual).

I thought we had a couple awhile back. I just returned from Yosemite National Park in California. I am so thankful I live only 4 1/2 hours away from there.

I've done a fair bit, but semi professionally, been published in a few magazines and newspapers. I do mostly landscapes/nature and a ton of sports. I'll occasionally do people, my daughter is very good at that.

I do too - mostly landscapes / nature and I love abandoned buildings / sites, and railroad stuff.
Also have had some pics in magazines along with electronic construction articles.

Recently started, as if I didn't have enough expensive hobbies, here lets at photography to the list LOL

Its something to do that doesn't involve IT work, and gets my mind off work. At the moment I'm mainly night landscapes, I find it interesting...

I used to. I love black and white photography. I don't have a camera anymore or access to a lab to develop.

LOL, develop, how quaint.... just kidding. I haven't heard of anyone using film in quite a while. Started shooting a Canon AE1 in 84, went digital fully in 04. WhaleBreach6mr.jpg IMG_8318.JPG Now shooting a Canon 7D with grip

I used to think that way, they said digital would never beat film, those days are gone, digital is far superior and while the equipment is higher, you can shoot all you want and no development costs.
