Well, I have been on my anti-depressants for 12 days now and I am feeling great. I don't have any urges to call my ex like I would have if I was not on them. I am feeling more confident and happier then I have in ages. I miss my ex but it is not the usual grinding pain I usually go through during a break up. I went out with friends this weekend and had a great time. I hope they keep working as well as they are now.
Glad to hear that they are affecting as hoped Let's keep our fingers crossed that they will maintain their effect.
Good for you, girl! Stick with it and see yourself through... I'm still trying to find some counseling to lower my cholesterol...no luck yet though...if ya follow me. Maybe I should try shock treatments? Or maybe I just need a lobotomy? BD
Loveit! Yea!!!!!! **doing the happy dance** You keep right on going girl and don't stop! I am proud of you!
Feeling a little lower today. Not sure why, I am sure I will have ups and downs. I still don't feel as bad as I would have if not for the meds. I totally follow you BD, in fact I was thinking of calling him and suggesting he sends his mother to a retreat group for her chest infection, after all, those anti-biotics are not good!
Great idea! Perhaps I should search out a female Tantric instructor to help with my sinus congestion. I think that might actually do the trick (pun intended :lol), in all seriousness. :dgrin BD
Pardon me if I missed something, but can I safely assume that you are thinking of calling the man that you just broke up with? MY GOD WOMAN, DON'T BE SO STEWPID! :yell I'm sorry for the outburst, you are hell-bent on sabotoging your recovery and it's driving me insane.
I have been looking at past posts Loveit and there is a definite pattern here.:nerv You really need to be done with this guy once and for all, for your own self preservation.
Perhaps we should take our shenanigans offline, Loveit? :brow:brow:brow We can bang out some more fun in private....:dgrin
Oh, how totally inconsiderate of me to forget...Dreama is a vegetarian! (Where's a blush smiley when you need it? :eek) OK...let's make some sushi rolls, babe! BD
LOL! You lot are crazy! I have discovered something. If I stay away from alcohol I tend to feel better. Even if I have 3 glasses of wine over an evening I am very down the next day. I had one glass with my sister last night and I feel so much better today!
Yes, do stay away from the alcohol if you are on anti-depressants. (It should say that on the meds lable!) As one who was on prozac for quite some time for clinical depression, I can attest that alcohol reduces the affectiveness of the meds!
It's alright. We've got enough meat right here, and I can have that kind. :brow Alcohol probably isn't the best thing ever to drink when on meds, loveit. Don't overdo it!
