My wife and I recently settled down in LA, and we're trying to make things work here. A bit stressful, but so far so good. We take good care of each other. Recently, we realized that an old friend of ours, Jenny, also has moved to LA. We used to work with her for a while in Oslo (I know, small world).
So, what's interesting about that? Well, for one, years back my wife and were going through some troubled times with a bit fighting and such, and I crushed a bit on Jenny back then....

I'm doing some volunteer work at the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County, while waiting for my work permit to arrive.
Today, our curator who is responsible for the bird collections got an "urgent" call. As the white smoke went up from the chimney in the Vatican, and the new pope was (about to be?) declared, a seagull landed on the very same chimney. The caller was from some radio station that wanted to know: what sort of seagull is this? what was it doing so far...

I am also going to school to be a nurse, so I can that my twist on a nursing tattoo. I will post a picture when I get home of the art work it's from. I would love to see that! Don't travel much right now....
