Today sucks pt. 2

Waking up this morning the day just seems brighter already.
To answer some questions that I've gotten about regarding the suicide letter from a friend.
He and I are very close and he made a very stupid promise to me when we were small. If he ever knew he was going to die, I would be the first and last person he said goodbye too.
It was a heartbreak to say the least. I called him, didn't get an answer, so I called the cops.
I gave them all the information I had and they had two cops on the way there before I could finish reading them the note.
They were able to get into the house and found him with a faint heartbeat. I heard the dispatcher saying "get the medics here, now"
He's fine...as fine can be now. He's alive, which is all that matters.
It's going to be a very very long road ahead of him, but I will be standing by him every step of the way.
