Now, I understand that castrated means banned from the site. But sometimes when I look at members online listed...... there are castrated members. How does that work?
Hmm..I suppose if someone were 'castrated' in the last day or so. The site usually displays the names of members who were online in the last 24 hours, even the castrated ones.
I think when Ryan bans/castrates someone, he also bans that user's IP address making it more difficult to simply set up another account and start all over again.
During my "travels" on the Internet, I have twice encountered artificial intelligence experimental programs and interacted with them. It was very much like chatting with a real person until the conversation got a little more complicated at which time the program would start repeating certain phrases to the point that you then realized that you are chatting with a program. That being said, I think that Ryan and Puss in Boots are probably actually an acronyms for some sort of artificial intelligence programs and that we humans are actually interacting with computers located somewhere in North Korea or in China! Our posts are probably great entertainment for the Central Party officials! Just a suspicion I have, mind you! ;>
Of course, I say the above from the saftey of my office in the White House just down the hall from the Oval Office where we have our artificial intelligence android stationed! Ha, ha! ;>
