Foreskin Intervention

Why assume I'm being bitchy? I simply didn't get what was supposed to be funny, and was hoping someone could illuminate it for me. Nothing more. As it stood it just came off crass to me. Sorry if not understanding is a buzzkill.

Not finding something funny that you do does not mean I lack a sense of humor, nor does it mean I was taking anything serious.

Hey Red....you ever watch crotch shot vids? Funny as hell aren't they? Also makes you cringe in pain when you see another guy get slammed in the balls? I know it does me, that is part of the humor. The other part is the stereotypical blonde cutting off the wrong piece of "skin". The other is that if a man that is uncircumcised does not clean under his foreskin, it begins to smell like a dead body or bad cheese. Fairly rank(sp?) smelling. So in the style of the intervention series, a man who has an uncut cock and is supposedly not keeping his dick clean, his family and friends want him to get a circumcision to end the problem. I fully understand the issues surrounding a guy with an in-tact foreskin if he doesn't wash it. I guess based on what CL said before linking I was expecting something different (which is why I initially asked if the vid had a point), and then the vid just came off as a lame mashup of all the bad stereotypes. By the time the blonde cutting off his balls came, I was thoroughly in "this really wasn't very funny". It was when Loveit24/7 said the point was that it was supposed to be funny that I realized I had completely missed the boat I guess.

Didn't mean to ruin anyone's fun, I simply didn't realize it was supposed to be funny in the beginning, and it didn't fit my sense of humor. Didn't mean to be a threadkill.

You know, it takes some years maturing into your personality profile to realise that sometimes a person can come off as abrasive.

I think we should just let this one die quietly into the night and focus on the humor. Its okay Red, not all people share the same sense of humor as our lovely CL, and that it ok.

I am well aware that I can be abrasive. I just don't always realize I am coming off that way, and generally don't intend it.

One thing in the video that got to me was how realistic the testicles looked. I've seen my share of skinned nuts and those looked exactly like a yearling pony's balls.

Oh, and on an interesting sidenote: In the horse world, it is traditional to throw the testicles of a freshly gelded colt up onto the roof of the barn for good luck.

Not sure that they brought any luck to the farms I've worked at but, the crow's certainly must have felt lucky while they dined on the feast that was offered up to them.

I'd be interested to know where that tradition came from. I dont know who's the one being brought good luck. I would consider being pinned down while someone lops off my balls to be a run of decidedly bad luck hahaha.

Maybe is his lady friends who dont have to worry about gettin knocked up and having to squeeze a small horse out of their vaginas?

No, not at all, I just didn't understand the statement. I have re-read it since then and in my brain it now seems to make sense. In other words, it's difficult to emote accurately on a forum. And on the flip side It's hard to get what another member may be emoting. In both cases it takes time for familiarity to develop.
