That sounds a lot like my wife and me. We've only been married 26 years though. We were 28 and 29 when we got hitched and had a child. Post-menopause, we still make it happen enough to keep my head from exploding, every week or two, but more would be nice. I'd like to do it as much as I can before I can't anymore.

During my first marriage (of 18 years) we averaged 3 - 4 times a week usually with multiple orgasms for both.

The frequency in my rebound relationship was 1-2 times a day (lasted about 3 years).

Now my wife and I have been married for 4 years the frequency has gone from daily to once a week. I think the main reason is when I was younger my sex drive was stronger than my desire for sleep, now its not so much! My wife does not initiated. We both start work very early in the morning, so the desire to sleep hits us both early in the evening and usually wins out.

The kicker is my wife is almost always receptive even if it is just to satisfy my needs (always her decision).

Ive been with my SO for 23 years. He use to drink every day....so sex was seldom back then. He quit drinking about 7 yrs ago and wants sex ALOT!!
I had a hyst in Feb...so I could care less if I have sex with him or not. I always give it to him when he wants it....even tho I dont..just so I wont hear bitching/accusations. I started marking a little x in the corner of each day on my calendar...last month we had sex 22 times. He always gets some oral before sex too.

ATM Im unemployed....been looking for a job..no luck.
My daughter knows whats going on *shes 16*....she doesnt want to have to choose which parent to live with....so Im trying to stick it out until she graduates.
I have no where to go....my dad has dementia and is in the nursing home..my 95 yr old grandmother lives with my mother....my brothers and sister have their own families and problems.
Im not making excuses...Im just doing what I think is best for my daughter and myself. I can find my happiness after she is in college....I hope.lol

I understand completely. Just be careful to not fall for some creep you meet online that tells you he'll be your hero. You seem very vunerable to me and I'd hate to see you get hurt.

Ummmm.....I am about to complain about my own life here, but then I feel my problems are miniscule compared to some others. I hope luvbug and the rest of you find solutions to your problems.

As for myself: I have been married to my girl for seven years, and we started off having sex several times a week. However, I noticed pretty soon that I was much hornier than her. It seemed almost impossible to really make her horny, she just liked me so much that she was willing to play along, and she also likes to see me naked. I knew that there was a bit of a problem there, particularly as these things normally get worse with time, which is exactly what has happened. Nowadays, asking (or hinting) for sex is like asking her to wash all the floors, she is very likely to come up with a string of reasons why it's a bad time for that kind of thing. We have had sex four or five times this year, and we don't even have kids.

I love her, but I feel like cheating on her, and she knows it! (I told her)

We have been together for 14 years and married for 4 of the 14 years. We have had sex almost everyday and rarely miss a day. Frequency really depends on how each of us are feeling.

Like all couples the beginning we were at it like bunnies, then it slowly declined. As of now we do it 1 or 2 times a day everyday, sometimes 3 or 4 times.
