Man-Made Beauty (56k Warning)

PHOTOS - We have a thread for "All Nature" photos; however, I also have a thing for architecture. I have no understanding of the science of architecture - only the beauty of it.

Hopefully we can share personal photos of buildings, cathedrals, etc. or interior artistry that perks one's soul.

When I was a teenager, we didn't have MTV.
We had to take drugs and go to Rock Concerts!

I'll move over some of my photos to give this thread a boost.

Below: The interior of Notre Dame is one massive art museum.
There isn't a space that isn't covered with carvings or paintings or etchings.
This carving is one of many throughout, that depicts different Bible stories.

Thought it would have been the opposite as you get older.

Wow, I love the pictures of New York, so neat! Mind if i steal them? I'd love to do a scrapbook page. Even though I didn't take the pictures, they're still really neat to look at! I have only been there once, when I was about 12 or 13.

Kind of hard to miss the big "Hotel and Casino" sign on the middle of the Empire States Building, or the Eifle tower next to the Brooklyn Bridge. I didn't think there was a roller coaster on the Statue of Librety either
