For me, having my knees bent helps more than which position we're in. When we're in missionary, I hold my knees way up almost to my shoulders. The first position we tried it in was spooning. It's a position that makes me very relaxed.

Something else that helped a lot was that he went in and just stayed in and didn't move around a lot. No thrusting like porn. He probed around very gently until he found the most "open" direction.

And we used so much lube, he was almost swimming in it. We don't use so much lube anymore.
