I have just joined the site a few hours ago so thought I should say hello.

I'm assuming this is a US based site so I will excuse some of the strange Americanisms you guys use!

Welcome to SF. We're glad at least some Europeans will still talk to us. And yes, this site is on a server in Seattle Washington, in the most northwestern of the contiguous states.

Remember the language we both use in English. Therefore what we English guys use regarding spelling is what counts. We invented the lanuage!

I'm sure my fellow footy supporting Brits will agree.

Naa, we call football football, I have no idea why, since we mostly move the ball in other ways, but we call futbol soccer.

Oh goodie, I love it when Brits talk about how much they hate the "Americanism" soccer. Then I get to explain to them that they (and not the Americans) are the ones who invented it. It is therefore entirely their fault.
