The distance between the clit and the vagina

I was talking to a friend the other day and I was bemoaning the fact that when god created women he kinda fucked up because he put the clit so far from the vaginal opening, making it harder for women to orgasm from vaginal intercourse.

My friend said he thought I was shortchanged there because he's known women whose clits were closer to their vagina than mine is and said it was easy enough to stimulate them while he was stroking into them to the point where they orgasmed.

So, now I'm wondering just how much variation there is in the distance between women's clits and their holes. I've only seen my own female parts up close, so I don't have anyone to compare myself to.

Guys, what are your thoughts?

The answer is that there isn't much difference from woman to woman, going from my many past partners. It is possible for the clit to be aroused during intercourse because the hood and the inner labia are formed from the same fold of skin. However, it takes a larger than average girth to pull and tug the labial lips enough for this to happen. Because of my build I can give my wife a vaginal orgasm at any time, the most recent being Saturday morning. Actually three vaginal orgasms, until she told me to change positions because she was getting too senstive.

CL, I can't orgasm from vaginal intercourse, I have to have some sort of clitoral stimulation which I usually do myself while being penetrated.
It also has NOTHING to do with the size of the penis, I have been with some very large men, small men and average men. So there goes the I am bigger then anyone else theory.

Hoping not to create too much of a storm here but in my experience there does seem to be some general racial variations just as there are with eye shape etc.

Okay, back on topic, bushwalker, your theory is interesting and may hold some water. Perhaps women with smaller vulvas, where everything is packed together more closely, are more apt to have their clits stimulated by intercourse. Makes sense to me.

There's another way you can get stimulation to the clit during the missionary position. There's a name for it which escapes me at the moment, but it involves the male mounting a little higher than normal, inserting his penis as far in as possible, then holding it there while the couple rocks back-and-forth, side-to-side, etc. This gives pretty much constant stimulation to the clit, much like woman-on-top often does. Once you both get into a rhythm it works pretty well. Okay, VERY well. I've done it this way with a few different women, and, to the best of my recollection, it seemed to work with all of them.

An added benefit for many would be that it doesn't give the male as much stimulation, so he's less apt to orgasm too quickly. For me, I usually have to abandon it or I'd wear out (or wear her out) before finishing. And, of course, it wouldn't work for the horses out there who have penises that bottom out before getting all the way in, but I'm a little bigger than average, and it works for me.
