Model 2008 Elections

This is a mock Election or a simple simulation.

I'm just curious as to the results. As a result of this being a quasi-simulation: US voters ONLY please.

I'm sure some of the people elsewhere on the board that are overseas would like to say a few things, and they are free to do so, but please do not throw off the stats, I'll put a "I am not a US Citizen" option for you all.

I'll be dealing only with the top 6 candidates:
Republican
Democrat
Constitutional
Libertarian
Green
Independent

I sent in my absentee ballot about a month ago. I'm so happy I was able to avoid all the hassle and bullshit of having to go the polls to vote.

I voted! I can't wait to see how this plays out...
I want tomorrow to come, it will be my first election. I truly can't wait for my candidate of choice to win

That said, I have developed a passionate allegiance to the Obama/Biden ticket. For the first time in my life (sadly) I have feverishly delved into every story that concerns me. I've read FOX... MSNBC...CNN... - but I didn't stop there. I dug deep to find the truth behind the spectacular headlines concerning both candidates - as I am keenly aware that the political machine spins all data toward their respective persuasion.

Wanna talk "Maverick"? LMAO - Remember - I have two kids who are 'lifers' in the military. I've been brought up in the 'church' - being a leader to some capacity in a very , VERY large congregation here. (Everyone knows that GAWD is a Republican, right?)

Tomorrow, at 5:15 AM, I will be standing in line for .... hours? - who knows... to vote for Obama. But I'll gladly do it, because for once - someone has attempted (and succeeded) to run a clean campaign based on what he plans to do. His plans are credible and workable, as is his character. And remember, I RESEARCHED - I didn't just read some journalist's headlines.

As a student of economics ... I have to state that Obama's tax and spending plans horrify me. If you want to know specifics, PM me and I can link you to papers. I won't take this full discussion out onto the forums.

A student? But veteran economists even the the republican side say that Obama's plan will help the economy. :?

Keynesian/Neo-Keynesian Economics has never worked and will never work. Those are about the only people supporting Obama.

Allow me to state my point. Additional Government intervention in the Economy is always a bad idea.
