Well, it's our 8th wedding anniversary today! Sorry, I'm happy, just wanted to share with the group.

We're heading out for a hip-of-beef buffet tonight with the rest of her family. So other than some flowers and a sappy card, not much happening today. Our 'special' plans start on Friday. Heading for a fancy meal followed by a stage production play/musical. What happens after that is anyone's guess.

How are you two going to celebrate? Big plans? What did you get her?

I just divulged our plans in the post above (probably at the same time you were posting). I'd live to say that I got her a big, elaborate gift, but unfortunately money is very tight these days. We're working hard to pay down our bills, and my work is being a bitch and taking their sweet time getting me my overtime cheque I was counting on. So some inexpensive tickets to the theatre and a nice romantic meal in a decent restaurant will have to suffice this year.

And besides, it'll be hard to top off the year that I told her I was ready to start trying to conceive.
