The whole arsenal gets deployed: Tongue, fingers, varying techniques, kissing, cuddling, touching. I do think it's important to vary things up a bit depending on mood/setting/etc.

I totally agree with LP...the mechanics really don't matter that much, it's the feeling behind it. If I know that my wife is hot for me, I get turned on. My actions and her actions then follow our intentions for each other. Sometimes long and drawn out is very nice, sometimes a quickie is just the right thing. It doesn't matter to me what we do, being touched anywhere by her feels good to me. It always ends up a little different too, which is also nice. And I love to subtley seduce that woman.
