Anal for dessert?

OK, another thread here made me think a bit. I have heard, that because of the US government's assbackwards sexual education system, that more and more teens are getting into anal intercourse and oral sex in lieu of having vaginal intercourse.

I'm just having a hard time wrapping my head around anal as being done before vaginal. To me, vaginal intercourse is like the main course of an awesome meal. Foreplay is the appetizer, vaginal is the main course, and anal is dessert. Not something you have every time you have a meal, but more of a special treat.

I think I sound kinda twisted in using the food analogy, but it's the only one I could come up with.

I actually like the food analogy, an I agree with you. Hell, even Family Guy touched on the subject a while back, with regards to lack of sex education and the poor teens resorting to 'doing it in the ear'. It made for hilarious TV, but to me the message was clear. The youth of today (and probably yesterday and the day before that) are very much in the dark when it comes to sex. When one believes they can avoid pregnancy by having anal sex rather than vaginal, there is something wrong.

But as a dessert, isn't anal wonderful?

Here's just a random thought...

When I first started having sex, I got nothing out of it. The guys I was with had no clue about a clitoris and just banged away. I was embarrassed that I could not feel anything because I thought it was normal for a woman to get off on just peenie thrusting. All I had for comparison was what I'd seen in porn flicks, women screaming and writhing about the second a dick was put into them.

Feeling abnormal and insecure led me to fake orgasms for the first several years that I was sexually active.

Now, I know I was normal, and in fact MOST women can't come just from vaginal sex with no clitoral stimulation. The fact is, though, that some women can, and I greatly envy them.

Getting to my point... Contrary to porn, I don't know of any women here that can come just from anal penetration. If there is one, I must have missed her post. It makes me wonder, then, how many girls are out there getting it in the ass and thinking that they need to fake orgasms to feel "normal". How many are doing it just for their boyfriend's benefit?

And what about the boys? Are they missing out? Do they care? I just wonder how engaging in anal sex at such a young age affects people and their ability to have "standard" sex.

I have 3 daughters (all married w/ kids) and I remember some of the slugs they had for bf's in high school. Thank God they found loving and nurturing husbands.

There are women out there who can orgasm from anal penetration alone, but I imagine they're quite rare in that ability. Plus, lord knows what angle you'd have to try to hit her G-spot through her anus.

Just as with vaginal penetration, there usually needs to be outside influences to achieve orgasm. IMO, you can't get enough stimulation. Clitoral, vaginal, or just rubbing and squeezing and pinching and kissing all over. The few times I've had anal with my wife, we had never been so close. I didn't stop caressing her for one second the entire time.

I hate to bring this to the table, but yes it is true. for a few reasons. Probably the biggest, she wants to keep her virginity as far as her vagina is concerned. The doctor checks there for her hymen, not her ass. There is a new saying going around..."stay moral, go oral." (why I can see a bunch of cheerleaders touting that phrase is beyond me.) It is thought that if you are just blowing each other, your fine, that you are not technically involved in sex. Same with anal, it isnt sex unless your vagina is some how involved in the act. The only reason I learned this. My brother and I did a paper together for psych class.

The youth of today have so many different things they have to face. In that same sentence though, there is also many different places they have to learn about sex, at such an early age where as most of us didn't have those same resources available to us.

All I can say is that this subject pisses me off.

Some real life examples of what modern "sex-ed" has done:
-My ex had no idea where her clitoris was. She had it confused with her G-spot and freaked the hell out trying to figure out why it felt so good when I played with "that place" (her REAL clit).

-A young cousin of mine is now pregnant because "condoms and the pill don't work."
