Whoa, BD! You stole my story! Okay, I learned to read Dick and Jane when I was three years old, and I always loved it. One evening I was with one of my best girlfriends at Barnes & Noble, which is where I would rather be than any place on the planet except under or on top of BD. Anyway, we had a few drinks at dinner, and were shopping for books for our kids. I found one of the new Dick and Jane compilations, and just had to have it for my daughter. I pulled it off the shelf and was raving about it, then I began to read it. There is something about seeing Dick run and come that is excellent reading as a forty-something drunk Mom. We laughed and laughed about it all over the store. Now my five-year old can read the whole thing.....without the same dirty mind as her parents.!
