so0o i am a girl and i recently have been thinking about having anal sex... the thing is, i have had it done before and it hurts, but this guy i am with now was touching my hole and using his finger and it felt amazing... I was talking to a couple friends and one of my friends said her solution to the hurting situation is to use spit to lube it up. she has used lubrications and condoms, but she said it hurt w/ these techinques. ever since she has been lubing up with spit, it hasn't hurt her and she loves it... how true is this? if this is true, what makes spit so much different?

I'm sure it's a psychological thing. If spit were really that great of a lube, Astroglide would be out of business or people could drool into bottles for a living.

Spit is a much better lube than astroglide.
That is if you intend to do anal for more than 30 seconds
as that's about the life span of astroglide.

Hiker, I must have defective spit, then... but my Astroglide has always worked great!

I've been on the thrusting end of anal sex using whatever brand of lube my partners used for it, and no pain. I think lube lasts more than thirty seconds. The thing that surprised me was my partners never used much lube for anal sex, which may be a hint. Another thing was we always progressed from vaginal to anal sex and my cock would have been coated with natural secretions, and that may have made a difference.
