just 6 here... but do I really care if prehistoric women enjoyed their sex, as long as I do? and if the bf isn't having any of the issues described, I'm not so affected their either. I think I've got a safe knowledge base LOL

I got 8 out of 10 as well. I missed the first one about the sex lives of our early hominid ancestors and the size of human males' genitalia compared to the other higher primates.

I got 10/10, based on wrong-answering some of the questions. For example, research indicates that western women do have a lower sex drive than men, and the hypothesis is that this is a evolved self-protection mechanism. Until very recently, sex = pregnancy, and abstaining from sex was the only way to avoid pregnancy and childbirth each year. So typically in a relationship, female sex drive starts off high and then tapers after a few years. The male sex drive is typically every second or third day, whereas the typical female sex drive is closer to weekly. Take the two and compromise - voila the common twice per week sexual frequency that most couples tend to drift towards.
On the other hand there are differences in female sex drives across different cultures: many cultures did not join the dots on sex causing pregnancy until relatively recently, and in those cultures women tend to have an equal sex drive to men (hence the hypothesis that pre-historic or savage women enjoyed full sex lives with many partners).
So what is the answer - bilogical potential sexual drive or cultural actual sex drive?
Am I over-analysing this?

You do tend to over analyse everything cbr lol....nothing wrong in that , but sometimes some things are just meant for fun not for analysing | | |

Yeah, I know, but I'm a Gemini after all. I like to take things apart and put them together again, and that includes relationships and people!
On the other hand, it can be a useful thing. How many men post 'our sex life has all but stopped...', and yet, if they had my knowledge, they'd understand there are social rather than biological reasons why this has happened to them. They would be in a better position to deal with the situation, rather than living a life of quiet desperation.
