Lutera Birth Control

My girlfriend just got on birth control (Lutera) and I was wondering if anyone could tell me anything about this particular brand of BC. Also, anything in general that anyone would like to share about BC would be welcome as well.

Also, I have heard that some BC takes about three months to start working properly so I was wondering if this is true and if we should wait to have sex before the full effects of it kick in. Thanks.

Ask your girlfriend, and if she doesn't know, have her ask her doctor. Her BC should have directions and information with it, also. Ask if she has any, so that you can read it and find out. My birth control pills were effective after 7 days, or effective immediately if you start taking it on the first day of your period.
