nah i usually eat here before so i dont think thats it... if she would shave that would help to... i hate getting that hair in my mouth lol... does certain times of the month affect smell and taste (obviously i dont mean during her period but like a couple days before and a couple days after)

Well, it doesn't really stay up in there. The vagina is remarkably good at keeping itself clean. Look at the crotch of a woman's panties (that have been worn) and you'll see a pale yellow or white discharge. This is stuff that comes out of the vagina in its efforts to keep itself clean. However, occasionally something happens that upsets the balance of cleanliness, some bacteria doesn't get properly flushed out, etc, and she may develop an infection as a result.

Bacterial vaginosis is the "fishy pussy" infection, easily handled with antibiotics.
A thick, chunky, "cottage-cheese" like discharge is the tell-tale sign of a yeast infection, which can be treated with over-the-counter remedies.

The point is (as I mentioned before) that the vagina isn't supposed to smell bad and if it does then there's probably some kind of problem that needs to be addressed by a doctor.

"Back in my day.." Seriously, when I was young, women would use douch solutions religiously. However, it has been determined that we were washing out necessary bacteria that kept infection from growing.
Now, douching is frowned upon, even in moderation. As far as semen left in the vagina, her body naturally cleans out the 'foriegn' material.

As long as she bathes, with a little attention spent to the outer area of her vagina, she should have no unpleasant odor. If she is hygiene-conscious and still has an offensive odor, it indicates a physical problem that should be diagnosed by a medical professional.

For the record, I still use an occassional douch - VERY occassionally - like once every 6 weeks Don't really know what difference it makes, other than perhaps I anticipate some very heavy oral play with Thorn, and I want to be exceptionally sweet-smelling. I love the way my wife pussy smells after she has washed down there.At first it took some time getting use to her scent,because it was alittle strong and this was after she had bath or taken a shower.After a few discussions about it she went to her doctor and had me to go with her,I even went into the room with her and after her doctor finish examing her she sat down and told us that everything was normal(no type of infection there)and very good down there.What she thinks is that she is one of those women who has a strong scent down there.She told my wife to not to feel alone,because she was one of those women too,because she said that she would bath and shower alot trying to get rid of it,but never could,so that's when she went like her to be checked and was told the same thing by her doctor.So what I am saying if she goes to get checked and everything turns out good and clean and she still has a strong smell after she has bath or showered,it just could be the way her scent is and it could be her natural normal scent for her.Can't say for sure.Just though me sharing this with you would help.
