Butt plugs

I've heard of them and a friend of mine has one. I was wondering how it feels to have one in during sex? Are they used like a dildo as well? Do different materials work better than others?

I always thought that butt plugs were the same as dildos apart from the shield that they have at the base to stop them from getting stuck up where you wish they werent. I could be wrong though.

They're used also to "pre-stretch" the anus prior to anal sex. You can leave it in, do whatever you do before-hand then remove it prior to penetration. That way, it's not such a shock. We use our all the time. If you're a little girthy, it helps her a lot.

Don't leave them in for long periods of time hoping to stretch the anus to more easily take other large objects. If you weaken your sphincter muscle you have a problem you won't want. Short term for immediate sex is ok.
