I have used it for over 3 years, Sometimes
I will use 2 pills sometimes 1/2 pill, And lately I rarely use it unless
my mind is racing and I know I wont get any sleep till i do.

No I have a one track mind, Its on pussy all the time.
No loss of libido here.

You shouldn't have any issues, hon. The only psychotropics you have to watch out for are the SSRIs/SNRIs. (SSRIs in particular are notorious for dampening sex drive, though that doesn't mean they have that effect on everyone.)

Well, I started on Paxil 3 years ago and now take Lexapro and they both effected my libido a bit AND make it hard to orgasm. Good for the lady but not for me. I have anxiety/panic attack disorder and Lexapro does help.

That sounds familiar: Paxil and Lexapro are SSRIs, and they have a rep for causing loss of libido and/or anorgasmia (delayed, or inability to, orgasm). Many docs will prescribe a small dose of Wellbutrin to counteract this effect, so you might want to talk to your doc about it. If you suffer solely from PD/GAD, there are other non-antidepressant meds you can try that may work just as well, if not better. Benzos (e.g. Xanax) are first-line anxiety meds that won't cause sexual SEs. In fact, Xanax is specifically indicated for panic disorder (I can attest that it works like a charm!).

General practitioners are the worst docs for prescribing psychiatric meds; they just aren't that informed about them. If you really want the best possible meds for a MI, see a psychiatrist--that's their field of expertise.

Oh no! I'm sorry to hear that I'm so surprised...this is the first time I've heard of a benzo causing libido problems. I looked it up and, sure enough, "decreased libido" is listed in the side-effects profile. Well, that sucks!

It's not really that bad.
It happens once in a blue moon & we manage to work things out.
We are good at communicating with each other Bluesy.
I think more so because of what we both witnessed with our parents?
