Girls! (and guys I suppose, LOL)

I need some fashion advice. I have a wedding to attend in August, and I want to know your guys' thoughts on this dress/shoe combo:





The shoes are shiny..so I'm not sure if they'd go with the dress. Any and all opinions welcome!

It's cute. Instead of the necklass I'd wear some dangly earings instead.

It's a very nice "summer wedding" dress... and the shoes go well. Sexy but not overboard. I agree...drop that necklace and get something a little more "bling". (I love diamonds around a woman's neck)

I'm in love with your dress I'll wrestle you for it! (I win either way ) The heels...are cute, but far too stripper-y for that dress, I'm thinking. They've got too much...va va va voom! They're definitely too high. The dress is very sweet and, IMO, calls for something more subdued.

I happen to really like the combo you chose. I think the shoes will go well with the dress, but I have to agree with Bluesy... They may be a bit too high for a wedding. (I can't believe I just said that!) Assuming you'll be doing a lot of dancing, those shoes will be murder by the end of the night. Maybe get a lower pair for the wedding and save those for afterwards.

For an August wedding, I would go for a more open, lighter shoe. Perhaps work with the white color.... or clear. And the necklace should probably be more airy, as well. It will give a feeling of summer breeze...Perhaps some type of "floating pearls -- or a simple silver chain with a light green pendant

Black is great, but if you are wearing a basically black dress, you need to lighten it up a bit for a summer function.

All in all, though - very sexy indeed!

not bad at all, the dress is very nice, greens black and white is an awesome combo the shoes are rather shiny, maybe something leather with a mild sheen to it similar to the dress. As far as heel size goes pretty much whatever is comfortable for you, regardless I'm sure it'll look great!
