I've got 20 posts and have been a member for a couple of weeks now, but I still can't use a custom avatar. Am I simply being blonde and missing something?

THIS is not the way to reach 20..... fyi.

I see you have an avatar now.

However, there is a scheduled job that runs on the server periodically to calculate your number of posts. It isn't instantaneous when you reach the magic number.
